"You are doing well in our studies, Picha. I'm sure your sister will be proud to hear of your progress."

The girl nodded shyly, taking in the professor's words like sweert soda to the burning hotness of a freshly baked pizza. SHe blushed further at her thoughts as her professor continued to talk about the upcoming national exams.

"Nothing you can't handle, of course. But-oh! I've forgotten, it is your birthday today, isn't it?"

"Well, yes. Bu no party today, Professor de Sol."

He murmured thoughtfully as they stopped at Serendipity. "But a gift is necessary..." More loudly. "Picha, is that...a letter for your beau?" The green-haired one looked to the sky. "The day is geting late. You must give it soon."

She flustered and hid the sealed letter in her book. "I haven't got the courage..."

And got the biggest shock as Psyche bent over and kissed her in the cheek. "Courage, dear heart. Till tomorrow then."

The professor took graceful strides toward the opposite serendipity, leaving the young girl staring wistfully from her stand.

"Maybe someday..." she said, almost bitterly.
